Cork Joint
Cork Joint is a technical agglomerated cork composite designed to fill gaps between expansion joints in concrete structures. It absorbs vibration, and allows for expansion and contraction caused by heat in construction structures. Cork Joint can be used in several applications where a filler joint is required. The capacity to absorb dimensional variations over time keeps the concrete from cracking, expanding the lifetime of the construction where the joint is installed. It can be applied in concrete, brick or block construction work, tunnels, water storage and supply systems, dams, airport runways or concrete roads.
Cork Joint can be used in different types of construction joints like expansion joints, contraction joints, curved joints or cover joints.
